The Mazurian Lake district is renowned for it's clean fresh air, clear waters and beautiful forests. While the lakes are appreciated not only in Poland, but also throughout Europe, they are still relatively undiscovered, much to the benefit of the tourist.
For those interested in history and geography, you can visit nearby the battlefields of Grunwald, the Skansen in Olsztynek, Kopernicus's castle and Planetrium in Olsztyn, the Ostróda Elbl±g canal, the Dylewo uplands, the Nidzica castle, the cloisters of ¦więta Lipka and many other interesting places that are worth a visit.
